*Please note that tax receipts cannot be issued for a donation of services, as per Canada Revenue Agency guidelines.

Please upload any documentation you have confirming the fair market value of the item you are donating (ie. receipt, invoice, company letter stating value, screenshot, etc.)

*Items with a value of $1,000 or more must include the original receipt (if purchased) AND a professional appraisal of value by a third party (that is, someone who is not associated with either the donor or Halton Women's Place).

Do you require a representative from HWP (staff or volunteer) to come pick up your donation?

Yes, I would like an HWP representative to come pick the item up from my home or place of business.

I have made arrangements already with an HWP Golf Committee Member, who will deliver the item on my behalf.

My item is a digital gift certificate and will be emailed to HWP.

*Items for our Silent Auction must be delivered to HWP's Burlington location, or picked up by HWP staff/volunteers no later than June 1st. PLEASE NOTE you need to confirm a date and time for drop off with someone on the Development team BEFORE you arrive at the shelter. For PICK UP, if the item you are donating is valued at $500+, we kindly ask that you are present for the pick up to sign our donation pick up form. Gift certificates that need to be emailed should be sent to kmckenna@haltonwomensplace.com also by June 1st.

*Items can ONLY be dropped off to the Burlington shelter on weekdays (Monday-Friday) during business hours (8:30am-4:30pm). PLEASE NOTE you need to confirm a date and time for drop off with someone on the Development team BEFORE you arrive at the shelter. When arriving at the shelter to drop off an auction item, please let the staff at reception know the name of Development staff you arranged with to meet you. A member of the HWP Development team MUST BE PRESENT for all drop offs and will require you to sign a form confirming the acceptance of your donation. Should you need to arrange a drop off outside of business hours, please email kmckenna@haltonwomensplace.com.

As our silent auction will be online and includes up to 3 photos, please feel free to upload any promotional photos or logos you would like us to use on your silent auction listing.
