Get Involved NowWhat is the Purple Plate?
We’re inviting restaurants, cafés, breweries, retailers, and local businesses across Downtown Burlington to stand with survivors and visibly show your support for ending violence against women during November—Woman Abuse Prevention Month.
Create a special purple-themed menu item, drink, or merchandise item. Display your involvement in-store, and donate a portion of your sales to Halton Women’s Place.
Why Downtown Burlington?
We’re launching our Purple Plate initiative in Downtown Burlington because that’s where our Hope in Every Step walk happens. If you’re a business anywhere in Halton and want to join in, please do—we welcome everyone!
