Transitional Housing

Halton Women’s Place has three (3) transitional housing units within Halton, which were developed in partnership with Habitat for Humanity and the Halton Region. These units provide housing for women and children as they journey forward towards a life free from violence and abuse. These units support women and children to live independently while also providing case management and community outreach support.

Clients can stay at HWP Transitional Housing for up to one year while they are in the process of securing more permanent housing. Our transitional housing features are one, two and three bedroom townhomes located close to schools, public transit and other essential amenities, making it a great fit for families.

HWP Community Outreach Services staff will continue to support clients with case management and individual and group programming while they continue to work towards their short and long term goals.

Please note – Transitional Housing Units are open to current HWP clients only, and we are not able to take outside referrals.
