Our Public Education Program, Learn to Love is in high demand across the Halton school boards. Our educators visit classrooms from Grades 1-12 to teach about healthy relationships, consent, bullying, media and gender stereotypes, dating violence and so much more.

We truly believe we can’t end violence against women without educating our children and youth. We want this program to grow and thrive so we can make real change and since this is a fully fundraised program, we need YOU!

Learn to Love, our Public Education program has been delivering presentations to schools in Halton for 10 years! With the on-going support of both the Halton Public and Catholic School Boards we have facilitated school-based public education programs that are subject specific to primary, elementary, and secondary school students. These presentations have been able to provide your students with invaluable resources on topics such as bullying, healthy relationships (peer, friends, family, romantic), consent, harassment, conflict resolution, digital literacy, and cyber safety.

Through the integrated use of discussions, video clips, and skill-based activities, students practice the development of positive social skills, self-esteem, and conflict resolution strategies. Our presentations also adopt a broader perspective of healthy relationships as being not just between intimate partners, but also with peers, family, friends, with the community, and within school.

We have also differentiated our lessons, presentations, and activities so that they can be delivered to Special Education classes and are accessible to all students.
