Shannon Moroney
Shannon Moroney is the bestselling author of three books, an internationally acclaimed speaker, trauma therapist, and an inspiring leader in restorative justice. She is best known for her personal journey following the violent crimes of her first husband, told in her memoir Through the Glass (2011) — and all of her work stems from what she witnessed, endured, and overcame in that experience.
A trusted expert on the stand and in the media, Shannon advocates for accountability and systemic change, and is devoted to helping people and communities transform PTSD into PTSG — post-traumatic super growth — to build resilience and to explore forgiveness. Her TEDx Talk, “Trust is Not a Crime,” has inspired audiences worldwide.
