Halton Women’s Place was honoured to welcome our community to our Annual Gala — this year’s Venetian Ball—an evening filled with generosity, connection, and hope. Guests enjoyed inspiring entertainment by The Doubts, Beaux Strings, and an Aerial Silks Duo, alongside silent and live auctions and our meaningful Moment of Giving, led by Layne, The Auctionista.

With the support of our sponsors, donors, volunteers, and guests—and with heartfelt leadership from our Gala Emcee, Anthony Farnell—the evening helped advance life-changing support for women and children experiencing abuse in our community. We extend special thanks to our Presenting Sponsor, Atlas Canada, for helping make this night possible.

Together, our community raised $390,723 in support of Halton Women’s Place. 💜

Why We Gather

Intimate partner violence is a silent crisis, yet its impact echoes loudly in the lives of women and children in our community. Every 48 hours in Canada, a woman or girl is killed, and the pace is accelerating. Halton Women’s Place receives over 2,000 crisis calls each year — each one a call for safety, support, and a future free from violence.

The Venetian Ball isn’t just an evening of beauty and elegance — it’s a catalyst for change. Funds raised will sustain our emergency shelters and outreach programs, providing safety and hope. Your presence can help create a future where no woman or child has to live in fear.
