Why We Gather

Intimate partner violence is a silent crisis, yet its impact echoes loudly in the lives of women and children in our community. Every 48 hours in Canada, a woman or girl is killed, and the pace is accelerating. Halton Women’s Place receives over 2,000 crisis calls each year — each one a call for safety, support, and a future free from violence.

The Venetian Ball isn’t just an evening of beauty and elegance — it’s a catalyst for change. Funds raised will sustain our emergency shelters and outreach programs, providing safety and hope. Your presence can help create a future where no woman or child has to live in fear.
