HWP’s Community Conversation: The Role of Males in Ending Gender-Based Violence
Domestic Violence isn’t a women’s issue. It is a systemic and societal issue. At Halton Women’s Place, we focus on prevention through education, and this includes engaging men and boys in a more meaningful way.
This year, we are hosting a virtual Community Conversation on the Role of Males in Ending Gender-Based Violence. This interactive and dialogue-based event is open to everyone ages 14+. We invite you to join the conversation because together a community builds immunity.
The event will be hosted by Jeff Perera, an expert at building bridges between people of all genders speaking on topics of masculinity, empathy-building, and men helping end gender-based violence.
